Sagres

As well as seagulls these cliffs are also home to Peregrine Falcons, although we did not see any.
Sagres - the most south-western point of Europe - the defenses in place.

Prince Henry The Navigator built a maritime school on this site, from where the 'New World' was 'discovered'. The above photo is the excavation of a compass.


Somewhere out there is America
