| The Albi cathedral is the biggest brick building ever built. It comprises 40,000,000 bricks. Construction began in 1292 and finished 150 years later. This would be like your great, great, great grandfather laying the first brick, and you the last brick. Even Gretel, who does not particularly enjoy big numbers, was impressed. |
