Our
visit to the prehistotic rock art drawing at Peche Merle has been one
of the highlights of our trip. The above link will give you an insight
into some of the art that we saw. It will not reveal the spectacular
setting of the caves, with massive caverns, impressive stalignites and
an array of geological features. The drawings date from about 15.000
years ago.
